Fitness programming designed for student athletes, not an adult program “customized” for youth.
For decades, CrossFit Main Line has inspired, equipped, and given an edge to thousands of student athletes. CFML’s student athlete training programs don’t just enhance performance, they also build confidence and improve self-esteem in boys and girls ages 6 and older.
Our student athlete training consists of four programs that offer the foundation for speed, strength and athleticism. Each program is designed for that specific age group and goals, not an adult program “customized” for youth.
Our Student athlete Programs Include:
Rookie: This program is designed for boys and girls ages 6-9 and creates the foundation for coordination and athleticism.
ATHLETIC DEVELOPMENT
• Developing motor skills and movement patterns
• Establishing coordination and balance
• Age appropriate strength and resistance training fundamentals
• Speed, agility, and conditioning foundations
FOUNDATIONS
• Emphasis on neural map development
• Character development focused
• Building a work ethic
• Inspiring atmosphere and positive coaching
TRAINING KNOWLEDGE
• Teaching training theory and terminology
• Building the foundation for a healthy lifestyle
Developmental: Designed for ages 10-12, this curriculum incorporates more athletic movements and begins to emphasize power and speed as well as age appropriate weight lifting.
SPEED & POWER
• Increase agility and change of direction
• Intermediate plyometric training
• Linear acceleration and max velocity development
STRENGTH
• Expansion of functional movement profile
• Increase students ability to load force
• Progressions of lifting and strength
MOVEMENT QUALITY & SKILL
• Training in injury prevention
• Development of coordination, rhythm and balance
• Increased conditioning capacity
Prep: This program is for ages 12-16, develops coordination, strength, flexibility, endurance, stamina and nutritional education.
SPEED & POWER
• High level plyometrics
• Advanced agility and change of direction
• Max velocity and advanced linear acceleration
STRENGTH
• Advanced strength and conditioning program
• Increased olympic lifting proficiency and utilization
• Increased capacity for work (hypertrophy)
MOVEMENT QUALITY & SKILL
• Optimal mobility and flexibility
• Injury prevention techniques
• Advanced conditioning
• High-level footwork, coordination and balance
Performance Academy: Suited for student athletes with specific goals, this curriculum is sport and position strength and conditioning specific and provides semi-private coaching and training similar to a Division 1 collegiate program.
Every student will have access to dedicated, individualized coaching and training that is designed to:
• Reach specific goals
• Bring athletes in alignment with their goals
• Enhance strengths and improve areas of development
• Improve overall ability
