This weeks programming should be “easier” than the last few weeks. The week starts and ends with two tough workouts (one a benchmark, one hero WOD), between that there is more emphasis on breathing, carrying, and pacing.

Our weeks are very uniform in terms of the delivery of intensity, volume, and movement sequencing, but you’ll notice less barbell work this week compared to past weeks. We are repeating “Field Day” that was last done in March after the CrossFit open. All of these tests are great measures of specific fitness.

With Labor Day right around the corner, we have a “strength predominate day” scheduled for that Monday.  If you’re worried about your folks missing the Back Squat 1RM, this can be made up on THURSDAY the 6th.
