T-Minus 5 Days:

The 12th Annual 24 Hero Workouts in 24 Hours

  • Event Start: Friday, 5/24 at 0930 at CrossFit Main Line – Wayne.
  • Purpose: This meaningful fitness challenge honors fallen heroes from military and civilian backgrounds.
  • Participation:
  • You can participate in all 24 workouts, but most people don’t.
  • Many choose to share the load with friends, making 1-2 or up to 10 workouts approachable for any fitness level.
  • Final Workout:
  • On Saturday morning at 0830, we will complete the famous Hero workout “Murph.”
  • Cost: The event is free, but donations to The Weekly Fight are appreciated.
  • Encouragement: Don’t shy away from this event. Stay for one workout or many, and be part of this meaningful tribute.

Steve TravAscio – 🧶🧵Personality & Community 🌪 🏋️‍♂️💪

Steve Travascio, the leader at CFML – Wayne, brings a unique blend of strength and personality to the community. With impressive PR lifts including a 225 lb Clean & Jerk, a 345 lb Deadlift, and a 205 lb Push Press, Steve sets a high bar for performance. His favorite movement is the power clean, though he isn’t a fan of burpees. Steve’s go-to coach is Kyle, who is admired for his glamour muscles. Before discovering CrossFit, Steve spent his time lifting and running.

He prefers the 7:30 am class time and wears any workout clothing that fits a tall guy. Despite his rugged exterior, Steve has a secret talent: knitting. If he could have any superpower, he would choose strength. Steve is a dog person and enjoys suspense/thriller movies. He also has an unusual belief that Bigfoot is his long lost brother. As a child, Steve aspired to be a pro hockey player. His dedication and sense of humor continue to inspire those around him at CFML – Wayne.
