24.3 Recap

CrossFit Open 24.3 was the big finale for the 2024 CrossFit Open, bringing athletes from to the Friday Night Lights party. Plymouth Meeting really went all out, running a whopping seven heats to fit in everyone who was itching to compete. Their energy and determination set the tone for the night, making it an unforgettable experience for everyone involved.

Looking at the scores from 24.3, you could really see the heart and hustle of the athletes. In the scaled division, folks really pushed themselves to the max, with the average athlete knocking out 139 reps in the 15-minute window. And those who finished averaged around 14 minutes and 27 seconds, showing just how determined they were to get it done in under the 15-minute time cap.

In the Rx division, the challenge was even tougher, with only two athletes smashing through the workout in under 15 minutes. Shoutout to Patty Zaradic from CFML – Ardmore, who totally owned the Masters division with her time of 13 minutes and 50 seconds. And let’s not forget about Bree Stemler of CFML – Wayne, who blew everyone away with her jaw-dropping 12 minutes and 57 seconds!

After all the sweat and hard work, it was awesome to see everyone stick around for a post-workout BBQ, pizza, and potluck. That sense of community and camaraderie is what makes CrossFit so special. Cheering each other on, celebrating victories, and lifting each other up – that’s what it’s all about. Because when we come together like that, it makes the wins even sweeter and the tough moments a whole lot easier to bear.
