24.2 Recap

Wrapped up, CrossFit Open Workout 24.2, and let me tell you, it was a blast! Picture this: 20 minutes of rowing, deadlifts, and double unders – a real test of strength and endurance.

Our community is amazing. We had over 400 of our awesome athletes take on the challenge during Friday class, and they absolutely crushed it! Can you believe the average Rx score was 6 rounds plus 65 reps – seriously impressive stuff? And our scaled division? They rocked it too, averaging 6 rounds plus 75 reps.

Now, let’s talk top scores. We had some real MVPs out there. One of our Rx athletes hit a whopping 840 reps – 9 rounds plus 30 reps! And in the scaled division, we had a top score of 799 reps – talk about giving it your all!

Our athletes didn’t just show up; they showed out with some killer strategies: unbroken deadlifts, manageable sets of double unders, and using the row as recovery. And when fatigue took over we all managed through it.

But you know what’s even better? The celebration! Ditch those morning workouts because we’re hosting “Friday Night Lights” on March 15. We’re hoping to see everyone there at 5:30 p.m. to complete the workout, with cookouts and potlucks lined up.

Wayne: Pizza. BYOB.
Plymouth: Potluck style! Bring a dish to share and your favorite drinks.

Honor 1st Lt Travis Manion’s Legacy: Join Us for the Manion Hero WOD on April 27th!

Join us on Saturday, April 27th as we unite with the CFML community to pay tribute to 1st Lt Travis Manion, USMC. Honor Travis’ Legacy with a Special Workout: The Manion Hero WOD. This annual event brings together veterans, families of the fallen, and inspired civilians to commemorate Travis’ life and sacrifice.

Hosted by CrossFit boxes, ruck clubs, and gyms nationwide, participants honor Travis by completing a 400-meter run and 29 weighted back squats for 7 rounds, echoing the date of his ultimate sacrifice on April 29th, 2007. While registration is not mandatory, it’s appreciated by the Manion Foundation.

CFML Weekly Workout Recap: March 4th Edition with Coach Michelle

Hey CrossFit Crew! Coach Michelle here with your weekly WOD Brief! 🏋️‍♂️ Let’s kick things off strong with some clean and jerk complexes and a spicy shoulder burner – 6 rounds of wall balls and shoulder to overheads. 💪

Tuesday’s all about gains with bench press and intense AMRAP sprints. 🏋️‍♀️ Wednesday, we’re mastering those snatches and hitting the pavement for some running and power snatches. 🏃‍♂️

Thursday’s our last chance to prep pre-Open with an 18-minute burner – row, up-downs, bike, box jumps – let’s crush it! 🚣‍♂️

Friday Night Lights is on for the final Open workout – food, fun, and fierce cheers for our community! 🎉

Saturday, let’s get festive for St. Patrick’s Day with Lucky Charms – Burpee Box Jumps, Deadlifts, Toes to Bar, and Wall Balls. Get after it! 🍀
