– Metcon: Today’s workout is about finding a pace and sustaining in for the entire workout. Overall, the volume is relatively high today especially considering the typical thruster loading for this type of volume is usually around 95/65 for Rx+ so sets will likely need to be a bit smaller for most people. Overall, 80% effort throughout should be reasonable – Athletes can split work however they choose as well as break running intervals into any distance they like. More times than not, keeping running interval sets at less than 400 meters yields a better overall result, but there are Athletes that prefer to perform longer running intervals which is perfectly fine.
