The 2016 CrossFit Open is officially complete! Five weeks of an inspiring community fought hard during Friday Night Lights. All of our athletes proved that they are fitter than their 2015 selves. Not only did several of us set personal records on repeat Open WODs but many completed their very first bar muscle ups and double unders. If you haven’t yet, take a look at our overall leaderboard to see how you stacked up against other Main Line Athletes.
Spring 2016 once again brings us ‘AB’ril, where the most midline movements performed in the month will win you some awesome prizes. And lets not forget the CrossFit Prom is coming back, May 21st and will surely be a night to remember.
And great news! CrossFit Main Line Wayne is scheduled to start construction by the end of April. Approvals from Staples and Trader Joes were finally received, the final architectural plans are approved and everything is in motion for an eight week build-out.
So, take a moment to scroll down and get a deeper look into what else is coming in the Spring of 2016!
See you at the Box,
Daniel, Merrilee & Dylan

Anything goes! Get another use out of that bridesmaid dress, borrow your dad’s leisure suit and shine those nanos or metcons.
Last year over 100 athletes from both boxes came out to enjoy adult beverages, dancing and shenanigans and this year will be bigger and better than ever. Bring a date (or not!) and come celebrate with our awesome CrossFit community!
Welcome to ‘AB’ril!
During the month of April accumulate as many sit ups and mid-line movements as you can. Movements completed in class count towards your total, score your totals on the whiteboard by moving along the marker of your choice. Top three Athletes with the highest numbers get their pick of some pretty incredible prizes; CrossFit swag, Ab-Hancer, 6 pack of beer and Yeti Cups are all up for grabs.
Rules: Complete as many sit ups or mid-line movements as you can at the box. Count the reps completed in class. Seconds accumulated in static mid-line movements count, Example: 30sec plank hold = 30 reps.
*Remember everything that we do in CrossFit starts with the core and moves to the extremities. So improve your overall strength this ‘AB’ril!
**Not sure if the movements in class count towards your total? Ask a Coach
Starting at 0930 on Friday the 27th, athletes will perform a “Hero WOD” every hour for 24 straight hours.
From the One Fight Foundation’s website:
The One Fight Foundation has begun the first veteran peer-to-peer mentor-ship and social support network of its kind in the Lehigh Valley. We seek to help facilitate veterans in a time of crisis to turn to those who know them best and can understand them most – other veterans. It is our vision that no veteran will go through a time of crisis alone. Join us in the battle to save veteran lives one life and one fight at a time.
All ticket sales will be donated to the One Fight Foundation, and a T-Shirt is included with your donation ($43.19)
The day has finally come, let the construction begin! Our 8 week timeline is scheduled to start next week with demolition. Stay tuned to the blog and social media for updates including pictures and live video of the space as demo and construction begins.
