We hope everyone had a great Holiday season filled with quality family time and good eats to toast another great year. Now its time to get back our focus and figure out our 2016 goals and your Main Line CrossFit family is here to help – gym oriented or not! The new year brings a new Coaches’ schedule, a Sunday yoga series, a sold out Teens program and progress to the new Wayne location build out. A BIG thanks to all the Athletes that helped us move over the Holidays. We are officially in our temporary home at 707 Lancaster Avenue, Devon PA.
Things are moving full steam ahead with the new Wayne location in the Gateway Shopping Center. Architectural renderings now include an indoor track to fully utilize our 5000 sq/ft+ Box. Final architectural and mechanical plans are scheduled to be submitted this week with construction following approval. You can check out the updated Main Line CrossFit renderings here.

THE GARAGE GAMES – MASTERS TOUR
Congratulations to all of the masters athletes who competed in the Garage Games 2015 Masters Competition which we hosted at both boxes on Sunday Dec 27th. On the worldwide leaderboard for their age divisions, our own Dr. Stu Katzen finished 3rd and Big Mike Shine finished 10th. Great job to those guys and everyone who completed the three grueling WODs!

CrossFit Games Open 2016
Registration for the 2016 CrossFit Open begins January 14th! More than 272,000 people from around the globe competed in the Open last year. As the largest CrossFit community event of the season, the Open ties together athletes from within the same gym to those in their broader city, country and world.
Starting February 25th, for five weeks, a workout with Rx and Scaled options will be released by CrossFit on Thursday evening. Anyone registered for the Open has until the following Monday to complete the WOD and enter their score.
As the CrossFit Open season approaches its once again time to work on those inevitable burpees, snatches and infamous muscle ups. Over the months of January and February WODs and free clinics will be scheduled to prepare us to set personal best.
We will be programming the Open WODs on Sundays at the Ardmore location. If you are registered for the Open, please complete the WODs on Sundays at Ardmore.

Ever have someone tell you they want to try CrossFit but they don’t know how to start? Let them know that we are now holding On-Ramp classes twice monthly on Saturdays to teach the foundational movements of CrossFit. The next On-Ramp will be Saturday, Jan 16th from 12-2pm in Ardmore.
