The Fall season is officially upon us. The weather is cooling down, days are getting shorter, school is back in session and kids’ fall sports are in full swing. A lot has happened in the last month at the Main Line CrossFit Boxes. New gear is still arriving, a new location for CrossFit R5 is coming and new faces are joining our community including the new heir to the Main Line CrossFit brand. That’s right, Dylan Davidson arrived on October 8th and although she doesn’t know it yet she has a lot of fitness to live up to. A BIG thank you to the Main Line CrossFit community for attending the happy hour baby shower to celebrate with us.
As things settle down for the Fall season let us update you on all the awesomness going on at the Boxes; including updates on the Lifestyle Challenge, new winter apparel and events coming your way.

We have over 70 athletes teamed up and participating in this year’s Lifestyle Challenge: Thirty days of real food, activity, mobility and better habits. At the halfway point many people have already reported feeling more energetic and hitting PRs! If you are participating, please write your scores up on the whiteboards weekly. Dr. Stu Katzen has created a series of short daily mobility videos designed to help athletes achieve better positioning and decrease pain due to lack of mobility. Dr. Stu’s daily mobility videos are not only a great way to score points during the Lifestyle Challenge but also a great way to educate yourself on movement and typical issues seen in the CrossFit and Chiropractic communities. RowVember is coming back! During the month of November accumulate as many meters as you can on the erg. Meters rowed in class count towards your total. Score your totals on the whiteboard, the top three Athletes with the most meters rowed get bragging rights, and some awesome prizes.

How: Individuals who want to make a donation to the EOD Warrior Foundation (a super cool t-shirt is included with your $35 registration fee) canregister here. When registering, enter “CrossFit Main Line” or “CrossFit R5” (as applicable) in the box titled “At which location/gym will you be participating”.
Why: We will be performing the EOD 130 Memorial Workout to support the EOD Warrior Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non profit organization. The Foundation serves the EOD (Explosive Ordnance Disposal) community by providing financial assistance and support to active-duty and veteran wounded, injured or ill EOD warriors, families of our wounded and fallen EOD warriors and by maintaining the EOD Memorial.
Ever have someone tell you they want to try Crossfit but they don’t know where to start? Let them know that we are now holding On-Ramp classes twice monthly on Saturdays to teach the foundational movements of CrossFit.
