An attorney by trade, Mike spent his time out of the office running a little, lifting a little and, athletically, accomplishing very little. After spending more years than he could count on the the typical exercise treadmill, Mike found CrossFit in June 2011. The CrossFit approach to fitness – constantly varied functional movements performed at high intensity – clicked with him immediately. Since then, Mike has used CrossFit as a foundation for his marathon and ultra marathon training, as well as events that some would consider “extreme”. Among others, he has completed the Peak Death Race, SEALFIT Kokoro Camp, the Megatransect Ultra, Philadelphia Marathon, the inaugural Spartan Ultra Beast, and numerous GORUCK events.
Mike joined the CrossFit Main Line community in the Spring of 2013, and became a coach in November 2015. Whether it’s helping an athlete get their first strict pull-up, strategizing their strategy for a CrossFit competition or training for an endurance event, Mike thoroughly enjoys helping athletes break through preconceived notions of what they are capable of and motivating them to exceed their fitness goals.
