9/24 – 9/30

The final week of September has a bit more variety in terms of movement selection. For testing pieces this week, all three are relatively high-effort and near maximal, but remember the difference between long and short format metcons is completely different in terms of the demand on the body/CNS. The three benchmark metcons programed will test all-three energy systems, but predominantly high contributions from the lactic energy system. This type of work is quite painful so of course there is a mental component involved as well. Let’s finish out September strong because we have some great things to get excited for in October!
