Weekly Programing Breakdown
8.20.18 – 8.26.18

This week contains some higher-skill/higher effort conditioning pieces (MONDAY/THURSDAY). With these pieces, athletes are often limited by their movement efficiency, so when this is the case we want to make sure people using movement patterns that align with their ability otherwise they’ll miss the boat on the intended stimulus (subbing a front squat for an OHS.)

A few things to note for this week: we are on week 2 of a dynamic effort cycle with the low box squat/sumo deadlift. You’ll see these variations for one more week before starting a new cycle. You’ll see one “conditioning piece” from the CrossFit Games. These are opportunities for Athletes to have fund and practice high skilled movements for quality.

We are closing out the month of August. The Monthly breakdown will be available for September by the end of next week. We’ve taken A LOT of great feedback so starting in September and and even more so in October you’ll start to see more time for Coaches to teach athletes as well as more skill-based days.

REMEMBER

Educating our Athletes is one of the most important things we do. Our Coaches and staff spend countless hours ensuring each class is the best hour of your day. Retaining the information is more important than just hearing it. Give us 5min of your time during the movement demo to make a difference in your approach.
